We invite you to learn more about our school by booking an appointment to visit us. On this first visit, we ask you to come without your child. The experience of observing the Montessori method gives you the clearest picture of it. We will share more information with you about our programme and answer any questions you may have.
After receiving your application, we will be in touch to arrange for a family visit in the fall or winter prior to your child entering the following September.
After receiving your application, we will be in touch to arrange for a family visit in the January prior to September entry for your child.
During your family visit, you will come to school with your child and meet with a teacher and our school co-ordinator. This meeting allows the teacher to engage with your child and do a few activities together. Further discussion between you and the co-ordinator provides further opportunity for us to get to know you and understand your educational goals.
And finally, we will be in touch with you in February to let you know if there is a place available for your child to enter our programme the coming September.
Kew Park Montessori Day School has made the decision to opt out of the Canada-Wide Early Learning Child Care subsidy programme for childcares. This decision was made after much deliberation, research and discussion with many parties, including other accredited Montessori schools. Our first and foremost priority is to deliver a comprehensive and enriched programme to children and we believe that our commitment to an authentic Montessori programme would be negatively impacted by the restrictions and standardization required by the CWELCC. Our casa programme remains a licensed childcare programme.
