Our Parents

Our partnership with parents is very important to us and we believe it is a key factor in the success of the children’s experience here at Kew Park.

Our goal is to work together to establish consistency between home and school. Communication is essential and we make every effort to provide an open line between home and the school.

We welcome parent volunteers on school trips, for reading support and recess supervision and to share their unique experiences and traditions with the children in the classrooms. Our parents benefit from regular workshops at our school, covering a wide range of topics relevant to Montessori education and childrearing. There are also several social events that are fun and relaxing opportunities for families and staff to become better acquainted. Parents are kept abreast of all these events and much more in our weekly newsletter.

We believe that the students’ experience at Kew Park is greatly enriched by effective communication and a partnership between home and school.

As parents, what we like most about Kew Park Montessori Day School is the open, honest and frequent communication between us, the administration and the teachers. There is a culture at Kew Park where the school, the parents and the children are part of one big team.
